Its strategic location has attracted major employers and it has links with the rest of Canada and the United States that are second to none. The Stoney Creek News was established in 1948 and has grown as the community has grown. The dedicated staff covers all types of news from hard hitting stories to special goings-on in schools, home and churches. It is the only news medium dedicated to covering Stoney Creek. In 2008, the Stoney Creek News celebrated its 60th anniversary as the only dedicated print media in the community.
